Jamaica Joined the Madrid System

The Protocol has entered into force for Jamaica on March 27, 2022.

Starting March 27, 2022, local brand owners in Jamaica started using the Madrid System to protect their trademarks in the 125 territories of the System’s other 109 members by filing a single international application and paying a single set of fees.

With its designation process, foreign trademark owners can now seek trademark protection through the Madrid System for their products and services in Jamaica.
